Cisco 6945 Licence Issue

Hi,

Do you know the licence requirement for 6945 series IP Phones? Is it Basic licence or Enhanced Licence?

For the other 69xx series, I need Basic Licence, but it can be different for 6945 I guess. Thanks.

Hi Resat,

Yes, you will need the Enhanced Licenses

Phones and Soft Clients

Q: What is the difference between an Enhanced IP and a Basic IP user?

A: An enhanced IP user may use any Cisco hard or soft-phone. A Basic IP user is meant primarily for analog migration and is restricted to the 6901 and 6911 models.
