Cisco 7861- Unable to do conference

Hi,

I know its kind of lame question and definitely its some configuration issue but some how I am unable to perform conference on Cisco 7861. 

How I am doing the conference:-

1. Making calls between 2 parties

2. Pressing Conference button on phone, it asks me to enter another number

3. I dial 3rd user

4. 3rd user rings, 2-way audio is fine

5. Now when I press conference button it should ideally put all 3 on conference but instead it asks me to enter another number.

1st party continues to be on HOLD and there is audio only between 2nd and 3rd. Conference did not happens at all.

Am I missing something here or its an known issue  (but conf is a basic feature-it cant be an issue, right)?

Hi,

Are you using CUCM or CME?

If CUCM please share the version and if CME please share the running config.

Is the conference between other phone models working fine?

Forgot to mention, I am not using either of them CUCM or CME. My cisco phone is regsitered to 3rd party call manager. When I try with different phones (Avaya or Mitel) it works fine

In that case this will be controlled by the third party PBX settings , you should check with their support team.

Hi

Can you provide the SIP logs from the 3rd party call manager and which call manager is it (Avaya ,matrix etc.)

if not possible then provide from the phones.
