Cisco 7965 - Caller ID Display Cutting Off Digits

Hi folks,

Can someone point me to a document that indicates what the maximum number of digits are for the caller ID display on incoming calls?

I setup a "+1" prefix far all incoming calls so that users can call back from missed calls, but ever since doing that the last two digits of the caller ID get cutoff on incoming calls.

I do not have this issue with the 7800 series phones, just on the 7965's. The whole number is there when you go to browse missed calls, but when you get a call the last two digits are cut off.

You could create a new Calling Party Transformation to strip the +1. This will only affect the phone screen during ringing, the missed call log will not be affected so users could still get the +1 on the numbers there.

To create a CPT, create a new partition and CSS like normal, go to Call Routing/Transformation/Transformation Pattern/ Calling Party Transformation Pattern and add a pattern you want to match like \+1.XXXXXXXXXX and discard pre-dot. Then assign the CPT CSS to the phones' device page under Remote Number/Calling Party Transformation CSS and uncheck Use Device Pool CPT CSS.
