Cisco 7970 with Firmware: SCCP70.9-4-2SR2-2S and a 7914 Sidecar

Hello Cisco Community,

Using the new firmware (SCCP70.9-4-2SR2-2S) on a 7970 phone with 7914 sidecar.

Two lines programmed main and one on the sidecar.

If the user is on the phone using the Main number then answers a call on the sidecar then returns to the main line.

The Softkey template fails and they do not get the call state for the lines. (no transfer / conference etc)

Has anyone else seen this issue?

If I downgrade the phone firmware it works great.

Thanks for any help,

-=Jason=-

Hello Rob,

Thanks for the quick response. I am going to mark this one as Correct answer because Cisco has updated its bug id and added an engineering special (9.4(2)ES24) release.. not ready for download yet.  and not resolved.

I guess I need to follow the EOL emails.

Status:
End of Support EOL Details
Replacement: Unified IP Phone 7975G
