I was recently given an old Cisco 887VA Voice with its console cable. Since it is very dated, I ruled out using it to connect to the internet, I thought instead that I could use the four FXS ports to create a small internal network with four phones. However, I have not found any way to associate a number with a telephone so that it can be called by others. It is the first time I have a Cisco product in my hands and having found nothing on the internet, I hope to find an answer here. Thanks in advance.
