Cisco 8851 unprovisioned

Hello

We have a new Cisco 8851 and we like to test it with our CUCM 10.5.2.

Our design is, that we use Cisco 8945 and 8961 IP Phones as standard phones with Extension Mobility.
We do not attribute a DN/Line but we use a default "Logout Profile" and this profile has, like a normal
user profile, all information. This funtion model works fine with the 8945 and 8961 IP Phones, but with
the 8851, it says always "Unprovisioned".

If I add a DN to the phone, it register immediately.

Has anybody seen this and have some experience? Any help will be welcome. Thank you.

Hi Pascal,

It will be good to indicate exact firmware that you have tested.

However, I am aware that some SIP phones will not register to CUCM if they do not have a DN configured.

In your case, are you talking about DN configured on default "Logout Profile" or phone itself?

We use sip88xx.10-2-2-16

I talk about a DN on the phone itself.

If I configure a DN on the phone, it will register immediately and show the "Logout Profile" configuration.

Make sure you have compatibility Firmware file for 8851 and installed
