Cisco ATA 186

Dear Friends

I am having an issue with the ATA186, the fax transmission issues are occuring, i have seen on the forum the replies to the similary kind of problems occuring to users, i am still unable to understand the changes that are given on the cisco site on the ATA. i would like to request for a simple way of solving this issue. the fax machine i am using is panasonic KX-FL612

Change the fax transmit and receive speeds on the fax machine to be no higher than 14400bps.

The ATA186 does not support fax relay, modem pass through, or modem relay. All the gateway can do is fall back to fax pass through if you've configured it properly which does not support speeds above 14400bps.

Also make sure you turn off error correction mode if you can.
