Hi,
How to use more than one Publisher in the same cluster as active/active or active/ standby ? and what is the best design for this solution if possible ?

The best solution is to have backups configured in case something happens, then all you need to do is restore.

Hi San,
you can have only one call manager Publisher in a CLUSTER.
If Pub goes off, then, IP phones would work seamlessly on susbcriber and no changes can be done.

Hi
+5 for Aman . The publisher is a required server in all clusters, there can be only one publisher per cluster. This server is the first to be installed and provides the database services to all other subscribers in the cluster. The publisher server is the only server that has full read and write access to the configuration database . The Subscribers are responsible for Call processing , you can also use TFTP server , and other server for MOH. Only one publisher for one cluster.

Hi Soi,
In case of a total loss of the publisher, is it possible to promote the subscriber to takeover the publisher task?

Hi San,
You can make your phones/users work seamlessly on subscriber but won't be able to do any config changes except UFF depending on Call manager version.

Hello NeyBan
1- If your DB replication is ok between your pub , and your subscribers.
2-Under CUCM group which includes your subscribers and publisher .That mean that you have a full redundant solution , so no issue to worry about.
3-If the publisher is down, you wont be able to add phones or make any administrative changes.Kindly check the below link

Hi islam,
There will be redundancy but it is not full, because in the subscriber I can't add or modifying user in the database. Am I right?

Hi
Yes , you are completely true . Redundancy that your services running but for any additional configuration , yes as you said except as Aman UFF as Cfwall and you will find these services on the above link which list only services.
