Hi All!
I have Cisco 2811 with VIC2-2FXO card and Hughes DIRECWAY voice gateway (FXS ports).
When DIRECWAY disconnect call, Cisco FXO port stays active.
I tried configure custom cptones and supervisory disconnect, but where is no result.
Cisco 2811 config
voice class custom-cptone Hughes
dualtone busy
frequency 450 1350
cadence 350 350
dualtone disconnect
frequency 450 1350
cadence 350 350
voice-port 0/2/0
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
supervisory custom-cptone Hughes
pre-dial-delay 2
no battery-reversal
input gain 5
output attenuation -6
no comfort-noise
cptone CN
timeouts call-disconnect 3
timeouts wait-release 3
connection plar opx 2073
!
where is my mistake?
IOS version
Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-SPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(17), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
Disconnect signal is attached.
Thanks!

Hi,
your frequency configuration appears correct, however the 1350 Hz is about 10 dB louder than the 450 one. There are also weaker components at 2250 Hz and then outside the telephone range, see attached file.
Try configuring "freq-power-twist" under voice-class to like 12. The default of 6 dB appear insufficient for your tones.

Thanks for help!
I tried to configure freq-power-twist to 10 and 12 values, but there is no result :(
Configuration
voice class dualtone-detect-params 100
freq-power-twist 12
!
!
voice class custom-cptone Hughes
dualtone busy
frequency 450 1350
cadence 350 350
dualtone disconnect
frequency 450 1350
cadence 350 350
!
voice-port 0/2/0
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
supervisory custom-cptone Hughes
supervisory dualtone-detect-params 100
pre-dial-delay 2
no battery-reversal
input gain 5
output attenuation -6
no comfort-noise
cptone CN
timeouts call-disconnect 3
timeouts wait-release 3
connection plar opx 2073
How to know about signal level? may be it's too low?
Is there a bug of IOS of DSP processors software?

Hi,
If you could could upgrade to 12.4(11)XJ4, that might help, altogh I doubt so.
The signal you recorded appears strong. I'm not sure if the presence of other frequencies hinders the DSP in recognizing the tones.
On the other hand, I think the problem is just in getting the tones right. Are these tones the same as some country or telco in the world ? Have you verified that the device doesn't actually do a power denial a battery reversal ?

Also, can you try configureing all the parameters under a single voice class and reference it in the disconnect command, like for example:
voice-port 3/1/1
supervisory disconnect dualtone pre-connect voice-class 90
voice class dualtone 90
freq-pair 1 350 440
freq-pair 2 480 850
freq-pair 3 1000 1250
freq-max-deviation 10
freq-max-power 6
freq-min-power 25
freq-power-twist 15
freq-max-delay 16
cadence-min-on-time 50
cadence-max-off-time 500
cadence-list 1 100 100 300 300 100 200 200 200
cadence-list 2 100 200 100 400 100 200 300 300
cadence-variation 8

thanks for answer!
I have not command voice class dualtone in my IOS.
(config)#voice class ?
aaa AAA Parameters
busyout Set global voiceport busyout monitoring
cause-code Cause code list parameters
codec Set codec global parameters
custom-cptone configuration of customized Call Progress Tones
dualtone-detect-params dualtone detection parameters
h323 H323 Parameters
media Media settings for voip calls
permanent Permanent connection (call)
uri Voice URI class configuration commands
I have wrote to my satellite service provider to change gateway disconnect type. In answer i have screen shot (only 450 Hz for disconnect!!!). I think, there is tone disconnect method only..
