Hi,
We should migrate Cisco IP Communicator user settings from Windows XP to WIndows 7.
That means not to configure again application, just when the same user login to Windows 7 will have same setting as on Windows XP.
I'm planing to use USMT 5.0 for this purpose.
Do someone can give some details? If this is posible?
Thanks

You just need to configure the same device name when configuring CIPC.

What configuration are you planning on migrating? There is not much config on IPC, simply device name and TFTP server, which you can automate with MSI push.

The migration should be done automatically, without user configuration. That means it shoud keep device name and TFTP server as it was configured on WIndows XP.
There are multiple sites around the world and I'm not sure if just one TFTP server is used.
Thanks
