Hello, guys.

Have a problem with Cisco IP phone 7945. After upgrading IOS on switch C4506E, 10 ea IP Phones stopped working. I tried to do factory reset (123456789*0#), but they didn't reset. Speakerphone button light is green and always stays on. Please help to resolve this problem.

Thanks in advance

Have you try plugging that phone to another swich? this new upgrade include energywyse feature? can you check if the port is giving the correct energy levels.

Rolando.

Yes. I tried plugging in to other switches, but it still didn't work. Can you suggest any other options?

At some point the phone shows something in the screen? Have you tried the key combination do to a factory reset.

Hi,

test#sh power inline gigabitEthernet 0/4

                            (Watts)

Gi0/4     auto   on         15.4    Ieee PD             3     30.0

PoE is up, Ethernet is down

if Ethernet is down, this means phone ethernet port gone has faulty.

can u try connecting any working phone on the same switch port?

if it works, then, u need to do RMA.

Take a look at this field notice.

FN 63772 - IP Phones - May Fail To Boot-Up After A Power Cycle - Fix-on-Failure

It looks like your scenario.

"Phones that fail remain in a stalled boot-up state where the LCD is blank and the speakerphone lamp is lit."

Unfortunately the work around is RMA...

Hope this helps,
