Cisco IP Phone 7965 Doubles digits when entering conference ID

Hello Everyone,

I have a problem in our cisco IP Phones 7965, when trying to join a meeting the phone doubles the digits of the conference ID and makes it impossible to join

Do you have any idea to get rid of this?

Can you tell us about your set up?  cucm? web ex?  ah hoc conferencing?

Hi Dennis,

CUCM version:11.5.1.12900-21

It happens on every conference system webex, globalmeet, gotomeeting

I dial in the the conference number then it asks for conference or meeting ID

Lets say it is 956 787 767, i press the buttons then it replies you pressed 99 55 66 77 and this is not a correct meeting ID

I hope i am clear enough, on some posts i have found that it might be related with the gateway

Hi, Mukeala.

You can try getting some callmanager traces and some debugs from the router to see if the gateway is sending double digits or maybe the phone.

please set the traces as detailed, and collect the following debugs:

debug voip ccapi inout
debug ccsip messages

calling and called number, and timestamp of the call and upload the files to this discussion

Thanks for your reply. I have uploaded the debug files but this time it didn't. The problem is it is not happening always i tried a lot of times but it never happened to me but others say they have this issue often
