Cisco IP phone as landline

Is there a fairly easy way to use a Cisco up phone as a normal landline in my house? I would like to use one in my office at home without the need for a complicated set up. Just wondered if it was possible with some know how?

I assume your question is to setup one phone in office and one at home. If that’s the case You can register 78xx and 88xx over Mra. Power the phone and if the phone has internet it can register over Mra.

if your requirement is to terminate  your home analogue lines to the Cisco  phones, then you need to have at least CME.

Cisco IP telephone, whether in UCM or 3PCC/MPP, is well known for being complicated and can be expensive.
