Hi.
It should be the default behaviour in CUCM if you fill the "line text label" field
In CME you can use "System Message" under telephony service configuration to add " Your Current Options" message.

I was referring the permanent shaded line behind the 'line text label' area of the phone.
Similar is also noticed in the 'your current options' layout
Environment is CUCM 9.X

Hi manish,
I need to push the light shaded colour behind the line text label and your current options area of the Cisco IP PHone.
If there is a line active or text entered whole area is darker. see picture for additional information.

Hi.
Have you filled the "Line Text" value under IP Phone's Directory number configuration page?
What is the ip phone firmware version?
Let usknow

We have had this same issue with our phones.
We had to upgrade the firmware for the phones.
If it is currently BELOW 8.5, you must upgrade to 8.5 first, then, to 9.x...
Upgrade to 8.5+ will eliminate this silly line.
What is the firmware/Active Load you are running on the phone?

Customer needs the line shade behind the text area...
I moved the enviornment from 6.X to 9.X and this feature used/seen by them is no longer avaialble in new version
