CISCO IP PHONE SET-UP

Good Day Everyone.

Please i'm tryin to set up an office Cisco Ip phone.

Model: CP-8865 using SIP

1. Is it possible to call and receive on Skype using Cisco IP Phone. If possible(How can i set it up).

2. How do i set up my Cisco IP Phone to make external calls outside the office.

I will appreciate your response as i really need answers.

1 You can find plenty of documentation on how to setup CUCM with skype

2 You will need an ISR and depending on what you want to use you might need additional cards (FXS, FXO, PRI, etc) or a SIP trunk (and the UC license for the ISR), along with all the related call routing configuration in CUCM

I can only make Internal call with other Cisco IP Phones

I have checked the link and i realized I do not have all the necessary Hardware and CUCM license to complete the task...

Is there any Cisco Material or External links that explains more about setting up Cisco IP Phones as i am still an Associate and very interested in this Topic.
