Cisco Jabber - Showing CUCM IP address in Phone services

Hello everyone,

I have noticed in Cisco Jabber, phone services on the app it shows the CUCM server address, which is against the company policy, how this issue can be sorted and is there anyway to use OTP services to login?

For this you’d need to use MRA in Expressway. Depending on the size of the deployment you might need to use multiple in a cluster. Read the deployment guide for MRA for the details on this.

Hi,

You can use the expressway for both intranet and internet access to jabber.
This way you ensure that CUCM access from jabber is always proxied by
expressway and avoid exposure of CUCM details to jabber clients (of course
the CUCM details can be extracted from Jabber log files even through
expressway but that is very advanced for end users).

I have informed the concerned team, will update if this resolves the issue.

Is it the fact that you see the actual IP address of your CMs that is the issue at hand or is it that you’d want to hide any information pertaining to the CMs from your end users that is the issue at hand?
