I have an issue with Cisco phones. I have integrated Cisco with asterisk version 11, all Cisco phones are using a phonebook which is two xml files and php file which gets the data from asterisk Database.
My issue is when you making extension to extension cisco phones are only showing Extension Number only but when receiving a call it will show both Extension Number and Extension Name.
How do I make Cisco phone display Extension Name when am calling a call
kindly assist.

<name>295</name>
Try changing that to "Fred".
Don't forget to factory reset the phone or the config file won't get downloaded by the phone.
