If I have an AASTRA PABX, and Cisco IP Phones WITHOUT a CUCM or CME, will Cisco IP Phones be able to register to AASTRA? Just like some vendors IP Phones are compatible with CUCM, are Cisco's phones compatible with AASTRA or they need a Communications Manager and a trunk link?

Cisco does not certify, support or documente the use of enterprise phones (like 69xx, 79xx, 89xx, 99xx) with third party systems. You would be totally on your own in doing that.
You can have better results using the SPA line of phones. For these, ask in the dedicated forum in "small business" area.
