Hi Alex,
I have gone through this link before, but didn't really understand it completely.
How can we integrate with Lotus notes, domino,,
Do we need an external Imap server?

Rachna

Hi Rachna,
I'm not aware of any specific integration available for the UC560, but Cisco does produce two plug-ins for IBM Sametime that work with Cisco's enterprise-grade UC offerings. http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/pr67/pr30/IPC/unified_commManagerPlug-In_Info.html
The Phone Control and Presence (PCAP) plug-in for Sametime offers click-to-dial, click-to-conference, call control and phone presence functions, working with Cisco Unified Call Manager and (optionally) Cisco Unified Presence servers. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucibmlotus/cpcap/8x/english/release/note/cpcaprn851.html
The Unified Messaing (UM) plug-in for Sametime allows users to view, play, forward and manage voice messages from within the Sametime interface. It works with Cisco Unity and Unity Connection servers. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucibmlotus/unifiedmsg/8x/release/notes/cumstrn851.html
Both plug-ins work with either the standalone Sametime client, or the version embedded in the Notes 8.5 client. There is no charge for the Cisco plug-ins (although I'm not sure whether they're provided as an entitlement with some other license). To install Sametime plug-ins in the Sametime/Notes client, each user needs to have a Sametime Standard license.
I'm unfamiliar with the UC560. If it provides an IMAP interface for voice mail, I'd guess there may be a chance of getting the Sametime UM plug-in to work with it. I would be quite surprised if the PCAP plug-in works with the UC560, as it has been coded with some fairly specific hooks for CUCM and CUP.
Please reply if you have further questions.

There's more info on Cisco UC560 IMAP support here: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9688
You could configure the Notes IMAP client to pull in these messages, but I think the Sametime plug-in is much more usable.

Hi Rupert,
Thank you for your help.
I am looking for a small business, but the links mentioned above are for enterprise environment.
My client is a 110 users company and running email on lotus notes.
I am not sure if UC560 can be integrated with Lotus to support around 110 users.
In between , can you tell me the difference between MS outlook and Lotus notes?
Regards,
Rachna
