Hi everyone,
Is there any more detail around what to use for the company photo directory lookup setting for CIUS tablets with CallManager?
The phone configuration allows for a photo directory to be used for photo look ups, but the CIUS administration guide has next to no detail as to what we can use, it just states "Specifies the URL that the device can query for a user and get the image associated with that user."
Is there a syntax to use?
Is there a variable we can use in the URL for a user's username? (I.e. http://intranet/users/%username%.jpg)
Can we use LDAP photo look ups instead? (We already have Photos in LDAP, which can be used by other Cisco apps...)
Cheers,
Mark

Hi,
We have put this in the Company Photo Directory Field: "http://10.35.27.7/pictures/%%uid%%.jpg".
We also set up a web server (10.35.27.7 in our case) without any authentication. And put all the user images under the pictures folder. The format is "userid.jpg". In my case it is "bibityzoltan.jpg".
Then I reset the Cius and got the pictures displayed under the chat application.
But there are no images under contact or mail app on the cius. I guess you have to synchronize these thought the corporate account (exchange).
Hope it helps.

The PDF version of the administration guide (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/ccmcd/admin/9_2_1/english/ciusag921.pdf) has more information and suggests using %%uid%% as the variable.

We are running into the same issue. We have configured the Company Photo Directory Field in CUCM and it works for the CUPC client, but it does not work on the Cius.
