CM 6.1, SIP Trunk Provider

I spend the last hours to try to connect my CM to my Trunk SIP provider (ovh),

And I just don't understand how to do that,

please help me !

Why I have to configure the router for that ?

I mean when I configure an asterisk with a SIP provider I just add the line:

register => 003397XXXXXXX:password@sip.ovh.fr

and nothing more, I don't understand why it's seem so complicate to connect CM to a SIP provider ?

Hi

You Need a Cisco Cube to achieve this because CUCM doesn't support authenticated SIP Trunk registration.

...and because CUCM is not Asterisk..

okay, with the most recent version of CM, is that possible to do without CUBE ?

No, we still recommend you to use a CUBE since CUCM can't do the above as mentioned by Carlo
