Dear all
I have one cisco cme and cisco cucm verison 7.1.5 as well..
i want to add cme into callmanager server group , so if the cucm fails the phone try to register on cme
***I dont want use srst***
is it posssible?

Hi Hani,
Is there any particular reason you do not want to use SRST ? It is possible to use CME as failover but it will be a lot of admin work keeping the CME router configuration up to date with CUCM configuration in terms of users, extensions etc.
You need to remember that failover is only meant to provide for a temporary situation so personally would not recommend going down that road unless there is a critical service that is needed which is only available in CME and not in SRST.
