Just wondering if anyone had a chance to configure CDR logging of cme to an external server via FTP. The question is that I understand this cdr file put on the external server is not really a readable content (doesn’t even give headers). Unless someone manually organizes things and makes it nicer in excel. Is there a way to use a template so it automatically populates the necessary contents only? i know we can create a custom template for example sample.cdr and load it up in the configuration. however it is not producing a report based on what i specified in the template. how do i create that template (is the headers that i need should be comma separated? thats how i tried).
thanks

Hi Vijay
CDR files when exported to External FTP server as a text file. This file is difficult to read as it is a CSV file.
The best way to open this file is with Excel and putting in Comma Separated Value.
I am not sure where and how are you applying the tempelate.
