Hello,
CME with a request not to have to dial 9 for an outside line. The issue we are facing is that the Telco is sending 1212 down the PRI for a DID that we translate into a 3 digit DN. Since users do not have to dial 9 to get an outside line whenever they try to dial NYC at 1(212)xxx.xxxx the router sees 1212 and tries to send it back down to the DN.
Can anyone tell me a way to work aroud this? I tried to add a specific dial-peer for 1212 (perhaps I did it wrong) but that did not seem to help.
Thanks in advance. Replies rated.

Hi there,
Could you share the running config please? Also, please replicate the issue and capture "debug voip ccapi inout".
Regards,
Harmit.

If you are doing the translation via translation rules which are applied to proper voice port or dial-peer you should not have any overlaps here. If you are using num-exp or dialplan pattern you will run into the issue you are describing. Please post full config as asked by Harmit.

Chris

Thanks for ther responses,
The DN was actually for a MeetMe. As it turns out I still had a few of the 1212 existing as a secondary DN on the MeetMe ephones. Once I got rid of them call flow returned to normal.
Thanks for the replies!!
