Hi,
I am using CME 7.1, the system is configured with all the incoming calls goes to operator extension 3401 and there is no voicemail option for now. The problem I am facing when we are getting more than one call, the caller gets the busy tone. The operator phone has six buttons. Is there anyway I can configure that phone when we get more than one call, the operator can answer the second call and put on hold? Anybody has any idea how to do that? Appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Hi there,
If you configure the ephone-dn for extension 3401 as an octo-line, it will be able to have up to 8 calls incoming at any given time. Try configuring the extension as: ephone-dn X octo-line
If that doesn't work you may want to post your config to see if you have any busy trigger settings in place that may be causing a busy tone.
HTH,
Chris
