I know we can integrate Lync with CME using SNR, but what about the presence, any one tried this before? Our main concern is that i need to see on the Lync agent the the user is busy if he is on the phone?

You can try TekSIP (http://www.kaplansoft.com/teksip/lyncproxy.html). TekSIP can act as a Proxy for standart SIP phones to connect a Lync Server. TekSIP can update presence of SIP phones on the Lync server.
