Hi,
I have a legacy voice gateway running CME, we need to convert this voice gateway from CME to MGCP. I've had a look online but can't find any reference documents which outlines any process I should follow.
Is there any Cisco article I can reference for guidance?
Thanks

What you're saying makes no sense at all, CME is a call control agent, MGCP is a master slave protocol for T1/E1/FXO/FXS/etc for which you need a master (CUCM)

Hi Jaime,
I have a VG running CCME, within our CUCM Cluster its registered as a H.323 gateway but we need to migrate the gateway from using the CCME/H.323 to our standard which is MGCP.
If we wanted to re-register the gateway as a MGCP one, would it just be a case of enabling MGCP and re-registering the gateway? Assuming we've configured the phones etc in CUCM.

OK, that makes more sense.
Yes, remove the H323 config and reconfigure as MGCP, there are no migration guides, just guides on how to configure one or the other, all is available on cisco.com
