Hi
Yes it is possible to upgrade firmware using CME
The firmware is set the same way as any other 79xx ip phone. For example
1. Go to telephony-service
load 6921 SCCP69xx.8-5-3-0.loads //specify the firmware you want to use
In Cisco Unified CME 7.0(1) and later versions, use the complete filename, including the
file suffix, when you configure the load command for phone firmware versions later than
version 8-2-2 for all phone types.
2. Upload the firmware files to the flash memory (SCCP69xx.8-5-3-0.loads*,
SCCP69xx.8-5-3-0.zz, BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz, DSP69xx.0-0-0-3.zz)and specify the path.
tftp-server flash: SCCP69xx.8-5-3-0.loads alias SCCP69xx.8-5-3-0.loads
tftp-server flash: SCCP69xx.8-5-3-0.zz alias SCCP69xx.8-5-3-0.zz
tftp-server flash: BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz alias BOOT69xx.0-0-0-14.zz
tftp-server flash: DSP69xx.0-0-0-3.zz alias DSP69xx.0-0-0-3.zz
3. Finally make a create cnf-files under telephony-services
