Hi
Sure you can.
You have to define it as registrer pool.
Here you have an example.
voice register dn 1
number 2000
name Carlo-Jabber 2000
!
voice register pool 1
registration-timer max 720 min 660
id mac 1234.5678.0987
session-transport tcp
type Jabber-Android
number 1 dn 1
username carlo password cisco
codec g711ulaw
HTH
Regards
Carlo

Hi
In addition to the professional configuration of Mr/Carlo , Please also find the below document which shows you that V8.6 support jabber + required configuration.
Thank you

Hi.
Iphone is the only mobile phone supported by UC5XX because of the release of CME they run.
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9827
CiscoMobile-iOS is the right device type

Carlo and Islam
Thank you so much
What about UC540 .Its the same philosophy as the above right?
What about if in the type : the cisco jabber is not available and is available only the CiscoMobile-iOS
We have to upgrade the ios right?

Ok clear
From the config i dont see also any other device type for example sip device type for any other sip application
So assume that is not supported also any other sip application

Hi
For above configuration of type Jabber-Android. Here we specify the sip client type. It can either be CiscoMobile-iOS for Apple iPhone users or Jabber-Android for Android users

iSLAM
Is available only the CiscoMobile-iOS for our device so for android is not any option
That is clear
What i am wondering if we could use other application than jabber with sip profile configuration
but as i see is not any option for sip device except teh default for jabber (either iphone or android)

Hi
ohhh , so under type there is no jabber-android. How can if you use CME v8.6 , this will not work if you assign sip application , should mention on type jabber-android.you can try , and i will search for you about files for jabber should be on your flash , to enable jabber-android.
Thank you
