Compatible Headset Model for Cisco IP Phone 7945 G

We have recently purchased Cisco IP Phone 7945G & installed at one of our site. Now We need to procure the Headset for this 7945G IP phone Model.

Can you please share the Compatible Headset Model ( Both Wired & wireless ) for this 7945G IP phone. 

OEM would be Jabra & Plantronics.

Our users love the Plantronics CS540 with the APC-42 cord that enables calls to be answered via the headset when used with CUCM and Electronic Hookswitch Control enabled.

Can you suggest the specific Plantronic model of Headset ( Over a head & Over a hear ) which supports Cisco IP Phone 7945G perfectly. 

One more thing how to enable Electronic Hook Switch Control with CUCM.

Hi Dayanand,

One of the many reasons that users love the CS540 is that it is convertible and can be worn "over the ear" or "over the head (mono and binaural)" and comes with all the required parts to wear either way. You can also order a "behind the head neckband" for people who don't want to muss up their fancy hairdo's :) SWEET!!

To enable EHS > from CUCM admin  Device>Phone (find the 7945) you set the Wireless Headset Hookswitch Control (under Product Specific Configuration)>Enabled>Save>Apply

Don't forget the cord I mentioned above (APC42 is required) for EHS

If you are looking for a "wired" equivalent I would recommend the DuoPro or the EncorePro 540  which come with all the parts to wear multiple ways as well. For any "wired" Plantronics model you order you'll also need this cord to work with Cisco phones;
