I'm wondering if it's possible to get a concurrent call report from Cucm.

Are you looking for live data or reporting?
RTMT can be used to show the number of concurrent calls, but not details of the calls themselves. You'd have to do analysis of CDRs for detailed reporting on calls.

I am looking for the details about the actual number of concurrent calls being processed externally. Can we pull reports from the CUCM?

If you are looking for raw numbers flowing through trunks, you can use RTMT to view activity over a Trunk showing how many calls are flowing to each CUCM call processing node. RTMT > Voice/Video > Trunk Activity to see an aggregate of all calls flowing over all trunks.
The Call Detail Record Analysis and Reporting Tool (CAR) can also run reports on activity on a per-trunk basis, and also do historical reporting.
