Configure Auto QOS on 2960

Hello!

I want to configure Auto QOS on Cisco 2960 switch for optimal using VoIP. If I correctly understand instructions, I must enter following command on all access ports of the switch and switch automatically generates other config commands:

config-if# auto qos trust

What about trunk ports? Is it needed to configure this or any other commands on trunks for QOS?

I tend to use the macro commands in interface config mode.

On a trunk port to a switch:

macro apply cisco-switch

On a port to a desktop:

macro apply cisco-desktop

On a port to a phone:

macro apply cisco-phone

On a port to a Cisco router:

macro apply cisco-router
