Hi All,
I have been working on a SRST site in Tokyo Japan. As I understand an INS64 are nothing but a BRI.
Customer says that, this INS 64 and analog lines are terminated on xCube SIP server.
Hence, I spoke to ISP (NTT) and did enquire about parameters such as ISDN switch-type and encapsualtion type, etc.
However, NTT said these information they do not have (or rather not configured at their end) and kept on insisting me to take it up with Cisco.
I have worked on BRI and PRIs across geographies but, this is my first time with Japan.
Is INS64 different from BRI? if yes, how and what configuration is necessary on router?
Any help in this regard is appreciated.
Cheers,
Sami

It's BRI. switch basic-net3 should work fine.

HI
You can use primary-ntt as switch type for it.

Thanks Ronak.
I reckon its a BRI and should be primary-ntt, considering ISP is NTT.
Monday, i shall post the test results.

Forgot, there is also a switch type 'ntt', Probably it wil not make any difference which one is configured.
