Corporate Directory host not found

Hello ,

I have problem with cisco 7821,

sometimes when I open Corporate Directory   I got host not found error .

my version sip78xx.10-2-1-12.

any idea?

Make sure that you are using the IP Address of CUCM server and not the Hostname in all the URL entries under

CUCM Administration >> System >> Enterprise Paramaters >> Phone URL Parameters

as it is quite possible, if you are using hostname there then sometimes the DNS resolution is not working causing the issue to happen

I used ip address of cucm.

Is it happening only with 7821 phone models. If the answer is yes, then look at below defect and upgrade the phone firmware to 10.2(1.12):

Yeah you did mention that in your original post. In that case, when the issue happens next time collect the Console Logs along with the Packet captures and open a TAC case so that further t/s can be done on this.
