Corporate Phone Book error

Hello,

I have to virtual machine 1 Pub and 1 Sub on 2 UCS servers.

I have cucm10.5 and when I pres the Corporate Phonephone on the device I receive the Connection failed. Any ideas.

Make sure you're using IPs for the urls to avoid DNS issues, if you want to use hostnames, make sure your phones have a DNS configured.

Pls check the attachment. The 7841 device worj fine, only the 6945 receive connection failed

Did you also configure secure url?

Do you have Restricted or Unrestricted version?

I have Unrestricted 10.5 after update from 8.6. On the 8.6 work fine

On all the 6945 device. On the 7841 device the corporate phone book works fine

I had some issues too with  89XX and 69XX with CUCM unrestricted version when upgraded from 8.6 to 10.1.

I solved regenerating certificates callmanager.pem and tvs.pem from os administration --> security section.

I check under Serviceability and under Service Name in Pub and Sub the service CTL is not Start ( Deactivated). Maybe this is why I don't receive corporate contacts, my question is why on 7841 is working.

Any ideas??

Most probably is because they are using non secure url.

Because this phone type seems to need secure connection only with cucm.

Strange because after update I have only problems. I will tray to activate the services to see what happen.
