Good day,
I have a multi-line hunt group provisioned through a MetaSwitch environment. When incoming call INVITES to this group are canceled (either by the calling party hanging up or answered by another station) the Cisco CP 8851 MPCC phones I currently have deployed running 11.3.2 are inconsistently responding to the SIP CANCEL message with a 487 error message after the 200 OK for the CANCEL. I have found that when they do not do this, those members are subsequently not offered the next INVITE. A line within the same hunt group using a different manufacturers phone is consistent with the error response and therefor is always sent the INVITE.
Is it possible there is a miss configuration at the phone level or has any one else experienced this? Any assistance, questions or thoughts would be most appreciated.
