Hi,

I’m not able to pair the wireless Mic CP-8832-MIC-WLS with Cisco phone CP-8832-EU-W-K9

Does anyone know if these devices are compatible?

Yes this is compatible, you shouldnt be facing a problem. Can you describe the process you follow?

ok I give up, what's the trick to pairing the wireless mics to the 8832?

I've tried,

press and hold the mute button for 3 seconds, that obviously doesn't work.

press and hold the mute button until the white light starts flashing.

press and hold the mute button until the 8832 pair mode times out.

Tried each procedure on and off the charger.

Tried older firmwares, sip8832.12-5-1SR1-4 I can get one to pair (either one) but not both, 12-7 firmware I get nothing.

Got the mics working now.

I ended up upgrading CUCM from version 11.5.1.16 to 11.5.1.17900. Even though the 8832 is running the same firmware, for some reason after upgrading UCM the mics now work perfectly, weird.
