Create a recorded update

Hello!

We have a business unit that would like to have their customers call their main number, select an option and hear a recorded status of an event they are registered to attend.  A mock up of the recording would be similar to...

If you are calling in regards to the competition on ______(DATE)______ at

 _______(VENUE LOCATION)_______,

Then, the business unit would set one of the options below as the status.

OPTION #1: …there are no updates at this time.

OPTION #2: …this event is scheduled to proceed as planned.

OPTION #3: …this event has been cancelled.  If you were schedule to compete at this event, you will be contacted directly for re-scheduling information.

My question is:  1) How can this be done in Unity 11.5? and 2) is there a way for the business user to change the status as needed without our Telecom admin having to do it for them?

Thanks so much!

CUC is a system in which you hard-code the call flow, so, the message you want, you would need to record it (and change it as necessary), you would need to then use caller input to list all the events you have, and if they're more than 9 (and if you want to change the events in the greeting, re-record it), cascade to another call handler to list another 8 options + more, and so on.

If you want them to do something like, enter the event ID, confirmation number, or something else that uniquely identifies them, or to use their calling number, you need a contact center system to do so.
