Create and send email on UCCX/IP-IVR 8.5 script with Exchange 365

I am running Contact Center Express 8.5.1.11002-22 and I have a script where I want to add a step where I will create and send a document.  This has usually worked well with normal exchange.  Now I have a customer that is using Exchange 365 in the clound and I was wondering if anyone has had any success getting this to work?

If you're keeping an on-prem Hub Transport server for unauthenticated relay (many customers do since a lot of apps rely on this) you can just point CCX to that. If not you would need to do authenticated SMTP.
