Hello experts,
I have a c with a y cable and using a Cisco Call Manager Express version 8.x
On Telephone-Service it's enabled the service phone ehookEnable 1.
I can get it to work for approx 1 min successfully no issues and the ear piece shuts off, not disconnecting the call. If I click the call control button I can resume the call. I have replaces the power source. Made sure it was fully charged, reset the system.
Replaced power strip it was attached too. It is still doing it. Any ideas?

I have a CS70N Plantronics headset connected to a Cisco 7945 with a y cable.........

Check phone firmware, update as necessary.

I verified and the Ip Phone firmware is apps45.8-5-4TH1-6.sbn
Reading Cisco document this one is newer and it should work.

Have you tried different settings on the "Compatibilty Wheel" on
the base/charger of the CS70?

I tried Rob but it works only on 1 position.
Putting the wheel on other setting or i hear a noise or totally mute
