Having cluster wide static complaints on our CUCM network. Running version 10.5 LEC is pointing to the MPLS network. The complaints seem to be intermittent in nature and happens with inbound calls. We have done troubleshooting with Verizon and want to make sure we cover all the bases on the cisco side.
Any suggestions for troubleshooting this would be great. Has anyone here on the forum dealt with issues like this before?
Please let us know.
Thanks.

Hi Mohammed,
We have two cube routers that handle calls. One of them has no static issue. The other has static on inbound calls. The call flow is as follows:
Outbound: Phone > Call Manager > Cube> Verizon SBC > PSTN
Inbound: PSTN > Verizon SBC > Cube> Call Manager > Phone
We have checked the interface of the cube router and there are no errors there. There is a riverbed in place between the MPLS from Verizon SBC and the Cube. Not sure if that could have anything to do with it? I am thinking if the Riverbed was affecting the traffic we would have static in both directions since the traffic traverses in both directions.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? We are looking at the Cube as the source of the static at this point.
Thank you.

Bypass riverbed and test if this resolves the problem. This is more to be network perf problem rather than CUBE. You need to check the monitoring reports for MPLS, LAN and Remote LAN.

HI Mohmmed,
The voice traffic is actually bypassed by the Riverbed.
