I have walked into a shop that has a SIP (T1), I know , I know.
This ciruit is only being used to eval future migration off of ISDN PRI's.
I will be terminating the T1 on one of our existing gateways (ISR 2801) that is controlled by CUCM
8.0 via MGCP.
How can I gen an eval license, this will never be used in production. its just for proof of concept.
The ios on the 2801 is currently c2801-ipvoice_ivs-mz.151.-4.M6.bin, which will support the additional
cube feature license.
The router will not accept the "mode border-element" command, this is what leads me to think I need the
additional cube feature license...is this correct ?
any replies appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill

The mode border-element command is only available on ISR G2 hardware. The CUBE license is Right to Use (i.e. paper, not a key) so there is no demo license available. You can configure and it will work but will not be legally entitled to the feature or support on it.
