CUC SIP integration with CUCM

Hi Guys,

I have this setup as follows:

1. CUCM 11.0 integration with CUC 11.0 using SIP

2. route pattern pointing to CUC

3. VM profile added for the user

Issue:

When I dial the AA extension, i get the recording but when i dial an extension, it keeps going to voicemail without trying to ring the phone. I have imported the user from cucm and this user can access the voicemail box but the call keeps going to voicemail.

I even checked the "allow transfers to users not associated to cuc" and still it doesnt work. The strange thing is when i dial the extension of the cuc user, i hear " wait till i transfer the call" and then it goes to the voicemail box. when i dial an extension of a user without a mailbox it says "you cannot be transfered to this number, check the number and try again".

Any ideas why this may be happening. How does the traffic flow using SIP when an extension is dialed that is belonged to the voicemail user?

Folks,

I found the issue, re-route CSS on the sip trunk was not set.
