I am trying to modify our Universal Device Templates, and I'm having trouble with the device description.
The current templates are about 5 years old and were created by someone else. The device description is currently #DEPT# - #FN# #LN# x#PrimaryExtension# when I try to save changes Call Manager seems to take issue with the #PrimaryExtension# value even though it is not new and is working in the existing templates.
The build input screen does not show an option for extension
So are there values that can be used in the device description that aren't shown on the build input screen? I still want the primary extension in the description.
