CUCM 11.x - Withhold outbound CLI for calls from specific phones

Hi,

We have a cluster where certain phones should make outbound PSTN calls with their calling ID withheld.   It's currently done at the router pattern level, meaning for these phones we need a separate set of PSTN route patterns, partitions and calling search spaces.  I don't like that, but I am struggling to find anywhere where this can be set on a per device basis.

Is there some easy setting that I'm missing?

Thanks, Tony S

There's no setting at device level for that, the settings you need are indeed in the RP

Do you want no number to show up on outbound calls or just not have the actual user's DN show up on outbound calls?  If you just don't want the actual DN for the user to show up why not change the external mask to the main number for the site or a number for your customer service IVR?  Another option would be have your telco make one of your ANI unlisted or unpublished, which would result in neither name nor number showing up on outbound calls (though check with your specific telco first as the terms are sometimes interchangeable though technically different).  Once an ANI is setup as unlisted/unpublished, change your external mask on the requisite phones to that ANI.
