Hi,
I have a situation, where I send subscriber calls to an external PBX (for enhanced routing) and need to have a fallback to route calls to
local subscribers, if the external pbx fails.
The only way I could do this was with a RouteList / Routegroup, and have the same CUCM system as a loopback trunk.
Now the originating partition and terminating partition are different, when calls go over the looped trunk....
But is this a bug in CUCM 5? Is the SIP stack not supposed to reject an INVITE that it sent out if it sees it coming back in ?
Ideas / Comments ?
I changed the config, so that a loop gets created, and CUCM 5 does not seem to prevent it..
I see the max-forwards keep decreasing, and eventually, the call does drop..
But CUCM does not seem to prevent the loop from being created in the first place !
