Hi guys,
Has anyone seen this error in RTMT (Alert Central):
SyslogSeverityMatchFound events generated:
SeverityMatch - Alert mgetty[32057]: clean_line: got too much junk (dev=ttyS0).: Success
This Alert is appearing in syslog/RTMT every few minutes. It is happening on one of the Subscribers that has about 700 phones registered.
Is that something that needs to be investigated further or can this warning be ignored?

This problem seems to be related to the serial interface of the server.
Did you connect something to the serial interface of the server ?
Either something is plugged in the port or the port is disabled.
Moreover, these are non critical and can be ignored.
Pierre.

I haven't physically seen the server, but will check the back next time I am on-site. I doubt anything would be plugged in to the serial port..
The main thing is that the message can be ignored. I thought it had something to do with the disk space (too much junk)
Thanks Pierre.

dev=ttyS0 is the serial interface.
