CUCM 6.1.5 hard drives copy

Hi all,

I would like to have a copy of hard drives of my CUCM 6.1.5 for store it in another place.

I found this article related to CUCM 7.1.2 where is indicated the procedure to change a failed hard drive: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/trouble/7_1_2/tbsystem.html#wp1190377

In this guide there is clearly write that this procedure do not apply and are not supported if I attempt disk replacement for a disk that is not detected as failed.

My questions are:

- I didn't find a similar procedure in troubleshooting guide for CUCM 6.1.5, but I think that I can apply the prcedure of CUCM 7.1.2 because the raid is indipendent from OS/CUCM version. Or I'm wrong?
- Someone did this procedure without having a broken disk? It works?

- Someone knows other procedure in order to have a copy of hard drives of my CUCM 6.1.5 for store it in another place?

Any answers will be highly appreciated.

Regards.

Danilo.

That applies to ANY of our CUCM appliances, we do not support pulling out HDDs as a backup/recovery method.

We only support swapping the HDDs when they fail.

All of our products provide a way to backup the configuration.
