CUCM 8.0 and Genesis Call Center

So my company just purchase the Genesis Call Center which I really know nothing about. Does anyone have any experience with this product and how it connects to the CUCM 8.0 cluster?  I have been told there are several ways to deploy the call center one is using cisco phones and connecting the Genesis gateway via SIP to the CUCM cluster or going with a complete Genesis solution using Polycom phones recommend by Genesis and just having a SIP trunk to the CUCM cluster to pass calls internally.   I think I would like to keep that system seperated as much as possible from the CUCM environment but I just dont know what the pros and cons of doing something like that would be. Does anyone have any experience that they are willing to share that might be helpful. It would be greatly appreciated....Thanks

How did it turn out?  I wish that I would have seen this earlier, I would have shared what I know.
