Hello all,
there is something I misunderstand regaring Enhanced Locations CAC.
We are told to give some weights to our WAN links that reflect the topology. Ok.
Is Enhanced CAC is aware of any topology change ?
Let's say we have :
A -> 20-> B -> 20 -> C. = 40 and
A -> 50 -> C. = 50
The first path will be prefered and let's say is allowing 10 calls (has enought bandwidth for) and the second one only 7.
After a network outage between B and C the routing protocol converges and handles only 7 calls based on QOS settings.
Is enhanced Location CAC is aware of any topology change ?
Best Regards.

NO it is not. E-LCAC is capable of understanding non-hub-and-spoke designs; however, it still cannot accurately track multiple paths, either active/standby or active/active without RSVP.

Hello Jonathan,
thanks for aswering my call
:)
So you have to map L-CAC to match your active path. All right.
Have a nice day sir.
Regards.
